What are your business hours?

Phone hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm MST and Lobby Hours are 9:00am to 5:00 pm MST Monday through Friday.

How can I monitor my account online?

How do I change my telephone number, address or email address in your records?

Please contact an account manager to change your address, telephone number, or email address.

Can I set up a payment reminder?

Payment reminders will be sent to your email address prior to your scheduled contract due date.

Will I receive a monthly statement or payment coupons?

They are available upon request. Please call, text, or email to request a monthly statement or payment coupon.

How do I make payments?

Online - Click here to make an Automatic ACH payments and one time ACH and one time debit card payments. There is no convenience fee for payments made using autopay.

Telephone - One time ACH and one time debit card payments can be accepted over the telephone. There is no convenience fee for payments made using autopay with an agent or self-service.

Mail - Checks, money orders, and cashier's checks can be mailed to the Corporate address on Navigator Dr. Please write your loan number on the check, money order, or cashier's check.

Cash - You may pay in cash or at many retail locations near you. A $4.99 fee does apply if a payment is made at a retail location. Cash payments can also be made via Paypal, Venmo, or on the Cash App.

Moneygram - Make cash payments at Moneygram locations using the Capital Auto Loan Receive Code "19027" and your account number. If you need your account number please call our office at 208-546-9319.

Does my contract or loan allow for a grace period?

No, monthly payments are due on or before their due date, a late fee will be charged to the account if your full payment is received more than 10 days late. Late fees vary. Please refer to your contract for these details or contact our office.

What should I do if my monthly payment is going to be late?

Please let us know via text, email or a phone call so we can note on your account and discuss your payment arrangement.

Is it possible for Capital Auto Loan to remove accurate, but negative, information from my credit report?

Borrowers sometimes request that Capital Auto Loan make goodwill credit adjustments by removing valid delinquencies or otherwise negative payment history from a credit report. However, because Capital Auto Loan is required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act to report complete and accurate credit history, we cannot honor requests for goodwill adjustment.

How do I change my due date?

We will allow a customer to change their due date one time throughout the life of the loan after the first payment is made. This change is made at the discretion of Capital Auto Loan. Please contact our office to discuss your request.

How does finance charge or interest accrue?

Your finance charge or interest is computed on a daily basis. This interest accrues on your unpaid principal balance at your annual percentage rate (APR) (interest rate). You can reduce the cost of your finance charge or interest if you pay before your monthly due date, you pay more than your monthly payment amount or you do both.

Is there a penalty for prepayment?

No, there is no penalty for prepayment.

How do I obtain a payoff amount on my contract or loan?

Please contact our office to obtain this amount. Do not refer to your last receipt as interest accrues daily.

Why is my unpaid principal balance different from my payoff amount?

The payoff amount will include any unpaid accrued interest, late fees (if applicable), and unpaid insurance premiums (if applicable). Please contact our office to obtain an accurate payoff amount.

Where is my loan being reported?

Your loan is being reported to TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. It is important to make payments on or before your due date to have a favorable auto loan history reported to your credit history.

What states do you service loans in?

We only service loans in Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Arizona.
